Dan graduated from Worcester State College in 2000 with his Degree in Occupational Therapy. He has focused his scope of practice entirely on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation after injury, He has extensive experience treating patients with many different orthopedic injuries including fractures of the hand, wrist and elbow, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, lateral and medial epicondylitis, trigger finger as well as complicated post-surgical patients. He is very adept with custom splint fabrication, and is trained in the Graston technique of soft tissue mobilization. He bases his treatment approach on customizing a program for each individual patient to maximize their outcome and to help them return to normal every day activities. He passed his Hand Therapy Specialist Certification exam in May 2016. Dan is also an accomplished musician, pianist, and a graduate from Berklee College of Music. Dan became a Certified Graston Technique Provider in 2020 after completing his training for advanced management of musculoskeletal dysfunction utilizing the Graston Technique method.
